The Welsh Liberal Democrats will make economic regeneration a priority for the next five years of local government.
Supporting and enabling small businesses to shape and lead their own prioritites and bringing life back to town centres and high streets will be at the heart of creating stronger communities.
Commenting, Mark Williams MP said;
“We want every community to benefit from economic growth so we can provide effective and sustainable local services for all.
“Our county halls need fresh ideas and new energy to make our high streets and town centres inviting places for people to visit. Whether that be by delivering better public transport routes, incentivising town-centre parking, improving our digital infrastructure, or devising procurement strategies that look to small and medium sized businesses.
“The Welsh Liberal Democrats will work with our local businesses to give them the tools to lead economic growth in our communities.
“We believe a better future is possible – a Wales with strong communities, supported by efficient public services, and with local people in the driving seat."
