New survey results show increase in parents’ satisfaction with education

Results from the National Survey for Wales (April 2018-March 2019) have shown a marked increase in parents’ satisfaction with the education their children receive.

There has been a 6% increase in satisfaction with secondary schools, to 81% in 2018-19 from 75% in 2017-18.

90% of parents said they were satisfied with their child’s primary school, up from 88% in 2017-18.

The Pupil Development Grant (PDG) Access scheme provides grants to help families on low incomes purchase school uniform, kit and equipment.
