Help make policy

The Welsh Liberal Democrats are not like other parties. Our members decide our policy. Their experience and understanding helps ensure we have the very best policies, policies that matter to ordinary people.

That's why, unlike other parties, any and all Welsh Liberal Democrat members can vote on policies at our Party Conferences. No proposal can become Welsh Lib Dem policy until Conference has voted for it - and our members can even put forward their own proposals, which carry the same weight as any ideas from our committees or our elected Parliamentarians.

We are also putting these policies - your policies - into practice. We've given 27 million people across the UK an £825 income tax cut, secured £15 million in funding for a bus concessionary scheme for 16-18 year olds, and introduced Equal Marriage. None of which would have happened if Liberal Democrats hadn't voted for them to become policy.
