The Welsh Government has missed every one of its targets to end fuel poverty in Wales since 2010.
Around 155,000 (12%) of Welsh homes live in fuel poverty, with figures in rural areas such as Ceredigion and Gwynedd being over 20% of all households.
Not only does fuel poverty affect people's financial wellbeing, but it places significant stress on our health systems, with clear links between respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia and living in cold accommodation.
This is simply unacceptable and we are calling on the Welsh Government to introduce an emergency insulation programme, targeted at those most in need to put an end to this form of poverty once and for all.
Tell the Welsh Government to take action on fuel poverty - Introduce an emergency insulation programme!
