Spokesperson for a Healthy Wales
Bablin was born in Bangladesh and came to Cardiff at the age of six, where she has lived ever since. She attended Cardiff University and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry before going onto doing a PhD in biology.
Since them Bablin has been involved in research for social and health science work. She is also currently working with Sight Cymru in the role of Communications and Development Manager. Through her work she is involved with a number of health advisory groups across Wales including Eye health, Diabetes and communications. She is a Welsh Government Appointed member of Health Council and has been conducting scrutiny visits to health services and collecting patient views.
Bablin was elected as a Councillor on Cardiff City Council in 2017 and currently is the Deputy Group leader. She is also the Chair of Cardiff and Vale Liberal Democrats Executive Committee and hopes to bring new energy and aspirations to party so we can re-build from the grassroots up.
